Six Months, First Solids

Wow! I can't believe a month has gone by since I last posted!

Eliana turned six-months old on Sunday. She had her well baby visit Monday, and was 16.3 pounds, and 26 3/4 inches. She's getting so big! She's starting to sit up on her own, and babbles like crazy! She has two teeth-one came through Saturday, and the other one last night. She adores her brothers-she loves to watch them play. They also love her, and are both big helpers-especially Isaac-sometimes he likes to help a little too much. ;P

Ellie had her first solids today! Yummy rice cereal and breastmilk. She did pretty good-the first few bites she wasn't sure what to think, but after that she was opening up for more! She didn't eat a whole lot, but I think it was a great start!

Hmm, I'm not sure about this stuff...

It's not so bad!

I think I'll try it myself, now.

Five Months

Where did the time go? I can't believe my baby is five months already!



She's getting ready to roll over-she has gone from tummy to back, and gets to her side from her back, but her arms get in the way. She is generally a happy baby-very smiley! She seems to like most people, and is free with her smiles, but she definetly is a mama's girl! She loves her hands, and likes to hold on to toys and shove them in her mouth. Eliana adores her big brothers, and they love her!

No More Bibs!

Isaac wore bib-overalls yesterday. He kept unsnapping the legs. I had to re-snap them at least 4 times at the grocery store. Then when I got him up from his nap, he had completely unsnapped them, and taken off his diaper. He must have done it when he woke up, though, since his crib was dry. :) So I decided he can't wear them anymore!

He's been saying more and more. Yesterday, Paul went to change his diaper, and Isaac told him "No nice". Then later on, Cole was bugging him, and he told Cole "Nice!" He also told us the other day when Cole hit him in the eye (he was fine!) with a toy--"Cole, eye, ow!" and pointed to his eye.

Great-Grandma's Birthday

On Sunday, we celebrated Great-Grandma's birthday! She is 93 years old.

Yesterday, Cole's class celebrated 100 days of school, and his assignment was to bring in 100 of something...

93+5+2=100!
